"Why was I wearing that awful bandanna????"
I remember the trouble I got into when I sold a piano to buy Blaze. Percheron and Quarter Horse he was worth "A little happiness"
A special remembrance was 1963 when I was asked to join Rose's Riders annual memorial Day parade, Brunswick Ave, Trenton NJ. Never felt more proud as I did that day.....
Blaze was ripped from my soul by ignorance and inconsiderate persons.
Eventually he ended up in tiny little cans.
Tweetie Bird. The Robin graced my space for 9 years . She liked to bathe in the sink, was raised on Ken-al-ration dog food, untie shoelaces, ride on "Simmies" our Rottweiler. and tease our cat.
Clancy a crow was found in a parking lot, Defuniak Springs Fl. with a busted tail section.
After nursing him back to health, he flew away with out looking back!!!!
"The Piggggggggg"My daughter brought home this squealing' bundle of piglet feccccc.........."

Welcome to my World
Simmie: Simutar The Karate Kid. "Rottweiler" deserves more PC time than all the rest, since he was the the last to leave and the hardest to forget.
May 1982-July 1993.
Simmie was raised to love and care for all creatures great and small from a sick kitten he kept warm and dry close to his loyal heart to tweety- bird the Robin who rode on his back.
Billy the goat whom gave us all grief.
Flocks of chickens,ducks and geese.
A baby fawn , rabbits etc.
When I taught him to fetch didn't realize how useful that command was until you needed a tool, help unloading groceries, dropping an object, etc... he even carried things up stairs to my mom , who was sick at that time. Yes even food, drinks in a paper bag .
Protecting his home was number one on his list to do.
Simmies training started early at 7 weeks. At 6 months he was obedient trained of all commands, fetching, going over hurdles, stand stay for show possibilities, even post guard of flocks of fowl.
He also raised his own duck from an egg. When daffy grew he was allowed to share Simmies supper, drink his water. "It was funny to see Daffy tumble 3 or 4 times after a tongue lashing kiss from Simmie.
All is lost -all is NOT forgotten!!!!!
It's been almost 12 years now, grievance still here. Now our house is back in order . An Airedale Terrier named Summer has filled that hollow spot in my heart. Well! some what.
